PK Style Gas Block - PKT Journal Profile 1.104"
Newly manufactured PK style gas blocks with a regulator. These gas blocks are made to fit PKT barrel journal specs. For all you guys out there that bought PKT kits and want the utility of a PK or PKM easy adjustable gas regulator to use on your heavy profile PKT barrel, these are the gas blocks you've been waiting for. Typical PKT gas block journal comes in at 1.104". These are undersized by .001 to .002 specifically so you can fit them to your personal barrel taking into consideration potential small differences in journal. I recommend opening them up using a 1 1/8" flex hone if you do not have access to a lathe or mill as they will give you pretty uniform results. The gas ports have been drilled on these so you will likely need to use them on virgin new production barrels which are available from sellers on Gunbroker unless you choose to move the gas port on your barrel (consult a competent gunsmith before attempting that). The 2 retaining pins have not been drilled through that way you can match the hole diameters to your surplus retaining pins or new retaining pins if you choose. If you have any questions not answered here about these gas blocks please ask BEFORE buying.
We are considering a run of traditional PKM and PK gas blocks. If interested in either of those products please let us know!!
